Carlos, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
FYZICAL Orland Park
I have always had an interest in fitness and kinesiology. In addition, my wrestling career growing up has led me to deal with various injuries, allowing me to grow an interest in rehabilitation and physical therapy. I have been fortunate to study various topics regarding physical therapy and began working in a PT setting, where my interest in the field continued to grow. This led me to pursue a career in this field and started my journey to becoming a PTA.
I really enjoy working with post-operative patients and athletes. In addition, I enjoy working with hip, knee, shoulder and back patients and guiding them on a road to efficient recovery and independence. I also plan to pursue certifications in dry needling and lymphedema at some point in my future.
I wrestled at the Division III level at Millikin University from 2016-2020. I’m currently training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at Arctic Training Center in Palos Heights. I also enjoy various activities such as weight-training, running and being outside with my dog. I am CPR certified and a member of the APTA. I graduated from Millikin University (2016-2020), and Fox College (2023-24)
