FYZICAL Buffalo Grove

I came to the United States 29 years ago as a trained and practicing elementary school teacher. I was studying English, taking general education courses, and started working as a transporter for a physical therapy department. It gave me a wonderful opportunity to learn that I enjoyed helping people in their recovery from an injury or other ailments.

I changed careers from teaching to physical therapy. I realized that it was a chance to preserve my teaching skills in a different setting and I have never looked back. I genuinely believe that 50% of the recovery and success in therapy is through positive thinking and an upbeat attitude.

The other 50% is effort, patience, and hard work. I am convinced that it applies to all spheres of our lives, and I always deliver this message to my patients during my treatments. I am delighted to become a team member of FYZICAL. The one-to-one treatment lets me educate my patients at a higher level than in most facilities.

I have treated adults in home health, inpatient, and outpatient settings during my career. I understand the need to keep people safe and independent in their home as well as minimize pain.
