Gina, PT, DPT

Gina is a Physical Therapist at FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers. She received her bachelors in biological sciences from Eastern Illinois University. She then went on to attend Clarke University in Dubuque, IA to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree, and graduated in May of 2021.

 

I have had a variety of clinical experiences in outpatient orthopedics and acute care. I am passionate about continuously expanding my clinical skills through continuing education. I always knew I wanted to have a career in which I could help people. In high school, I used to take my sister to physical therapy following a surgery she had. In watching these physical therapists work closely with my sister, educating her and supporting her, I knew I wanted to provide to others the same impact they had on my sister. Physical therapists play an essential role in improving patients’ quality of life and restoring their function, and I take pride in knowing that I get to be a part of that role. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, being active outdoors, and playing with my dog.
