Tom, PTA, EMT-B
Physical Therapist Assistant
FYZICAL Jefferson Park
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Community Health and Wellness with a minor in Chemistry from Northeastern Illinois University. More recently, I earned an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies from Fox College. I got into Physical Therapy through a love of exercise and strength training. Along the journey of powerlifting, I sustained several injuries that Physical Therapy helped overcome, allowing continued pursuit of my fitness goals. That experience inspired a desire to help others live better, more active lives.
The human body is meant to move, and every time it does, the mind, body, and soul are strengthened and nourished. I was introduced to the McKenzie Method and am looking forward to becoming certified in spinal treatment, an area that affects nearly everyone at some point in life. Fun Facts:
- Fluent in Polish
- Personal best deadlift is 585 pounds
- Practice the Wim Hof Method, including daily breathing exercises and ice baths to stimulate the immune system
- Completed a marathon in Virginia in 2023
