Have you ever heard of the movie “a Dolphin Tale”? There is a quick scene where at a military rehabilitation center people with different abilities are all playing basketball together, some were in a wheelchair and some had prosthetics. I was inspired because people were able to play the game so that everyone could participate. I started thinking about how I could help people get back to doing an activity they love and get back to living their life how they want which got me into physical therapy.

 

Fun Facts:

• I am a huge foodie! My favorite food/drink are tacos and coffee.
• I collect pottery from the places I’ve traveled to. My favorite piece is from
  Granada, Spain!
• I played the French Horn
• No matter how hard I try I still can’t whistle
• I graduated from Marquette University
• I can speak conversationally (but I would not say fluently) in Spanish
