Tom has been a practicing physical therapist since graduating from the University of Illinois in 1988. It did not take long after his graduation that he realized his goal of owning his own private practice physical therapy clinic. In 1990, he joined forces with George and opened Southwest Physical Therapy.
Tom treats his patients with compassion and understanding while pushing them to achieve the goals set between him and his patient. He wears many hats, but never sacrifices his patient’s treatment, taking a hands-on approach with all his patients. He enjoys working with individuals who are seeking physical therapy as an option instead of surgery but also excels at post-op recovery.
Most recently he has become certified in the Graston Technique. He stays current with all legislative and pertinent trends in private practice physical therapy and was integral in the Direct Access legislation allowing physical therapists to treat without a doctor’s script. Tom is a huge Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Bears fan and enjoys camping and traveling to Colorado to visit his two children.
