Alison, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
FYZICAL Old Town
When I was 13, I tore my ACL while playing volleyball, an injury that truly changed my life. As an athlete who has always loved strength training and working out, my physical therapist introduced me to the impact that Physical Therapy can have. My physical therapist played such a positive role in my recovery, that I knew I wanted to help other people get back to doing what they love, just like my PT did. Although that journey was challenging, it inspired me to want to be a source of light and support for others in their toughest battles.
I would love to gain experience in a variety of areas but I hope to gain some expertise in vestibular rehabilitation. I would love to get certified in dry needling and applied functional science. Additionally, I am passionate about where the orthopedic and neurological worlds blend with a desire to work with athletes who have had neurological injuries.
Fun Facts:
- When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a firefighter
- I will never say no to a cup of coffee
- I played college volleyball and had a 28 inch vertical
- Although I was born and raised in Florida, I have some experience with cold winters as I went to undergrad in New Hampshire.
