Roberta, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
FYZICAL Schaumburg
I am a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant and a graduate of Elgin Community College, specializing in vestibular and neurological rehabilitation. I am passionate about helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life by combining evidence-based practices with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
I changed careers approximately six years ago after spending twelve years as an administrative assistant, driven by a strong desire to work in the healthcare field and make a more direct impact on people’s lives. I wanted to help individuals heal and return to their prior level of function. After speaking with several family members who work in healthcare and learning more about their experiences, I decided to pursue a career in physical therapy.
I am committed to staying current with the latest advancements in physical therapy to ensure each patient receives personalized and effective treatment. I have developing expertise in pelvic floor therapy and am eager to continue growing in this specialty, along with expanding my knowledge in sports medicine.
Outside of work, I am a competitive bowler, enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephew, love building LEGO sets, and am an avid animal lover.
