I have always had an interest in athletics and leading an active lifestyle. As the youngest, I had the opportunity to watch both my older sisters pursue degrees within the healthcare profession. They always spoke highly about having the opportunity to help people, ultimately sparking my general interest in healthcare. I narrowed my interest in PT when I volunteered at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in the rehab department. Between this rewarding experience and my sister’s guidance (who is also a PT), I decided to do more observation in physical therapy.
Needless to say, I loved it and continued my journey to become a PT!! Now working as a PT, I love being able to take the time to listen to my patients to truly understand their chief complaints and how that impacts their daily lives. I consistently strive to provide good one-on-one quality care and develop a plan of care that is individualized. Here at FYZICAL, I have found this is what produces successful outcomes. It is very satisfying and rewarding witnessing patient progress and helping patients achieve their goals to ultimately enhance their quality of life. We have a great community here at FYZICAL and I am so glad to be a part of it!
